Active Carbon Block Filter Glamorca RO1 for reverse osmosis system
The active carbon block filter Glamorca RO1 is designed for reverse osmosis systems used in aquariums. It provides an essential filtration step before the membrane, effectively retaining many impurities present in tap water.
Filtration Principle
Thanks to its compacted active carbon structure, this filter removes chlorine, organic contaminants, pesticides, and various chemical substances. It also helps reduce unwanted tastes, colors, and odors from the water, while ensuring optimal protection of the osmosis membrane.
This filter should not be used with microbiologically unsafe water or water of unknown quality. It is intended exclusively for aquarium use.
Usage and Maintenance
To ensure the performance of the reverse osmosis system, it is imperative to adhere to normal operating conditions, as well as the maintenance and replacement schedule of the filter. A saturated filter can lose its effectiveness and compromise the quality of the produced water.
