Tanganyika Buffer is an alkaline buffer formulated to increase and stabilize the pH in a range between 9.0 and 9.4, corresponding to the natural conditions of Lake Tanganyika. It also affects the carbonate hardness to enhance the water’s buffering capacity.
Main Features
Adjusts and stabilizes the pH between 9.0 and 9.4.
Increases alkalinity and carbonate hardness (KH).
Does not affect general hardness (GH).
Designed for African cichlids from Lake Tanganyika.
Effect on Water
