Description
NitraPhos Minus is a unique formula aimed at biologically eliminating nitrate, nitrite, and phosphate from the aquarium. It activates the metabolism of various types of bacteria responsible for managing and eliminating excess nutrients.
Thanks to the special composition of multiple forms of organic carbon, amino acids, and vitamins, all biochemical changes occur without any issues and the bacteria easily absorb the compounds to convert them into biomass.
This biomass becomes valuable food for corals while the excess and residues are removed from the water by filter or skimmer. NitraPhos Minus improves the overall condition of corals, offers better coloration, and promotes their growth. By maintaining the biological balance in the tank, it prevents the formation of undesirable green algae and the development of cyanobacteria.

Dosage

Can I use -NP Pro and Pro Bio S with NitraPhos Minus?
Pro Bio S and -NP Pro are specifically dedicated to the Aquaforest probiotic method. We understand that not everyone uses the full probiotic method, so, by listening to our customers, we decided to create a product that would suit all types of tanks. NitraPhos Minus was designed to quickly eliminate high levels of nitrate and phosphate. You can use both products together, but the reduction of nitrate and phosphate levels will be very strong and you need to observe your aquarium closely.
Additional Tips
- Low nitrate and phosphate levels require supplementation in rich corals
- Ineffective filtration can be the reason for high nitrate and phosphate levels
- Too much food or supplements can also be the cause of excessively high nitrate and phosphate levels
- A sharp drop in nitrate and phosphate levels can destroy zooxanthellae and lead to coral death
- NitraPhos Minus was designed to quickly eliminate high levels of nitrate and phosphate. You can use it with Pro Bio S. -NP Pro is food for bacteria and it is not necessary to use it when dosing NitraPhos Minus
