Deliveries (deadlines)
As soon as the order is validated (status = payment accepted), the LLC RecifAtHome commits to handing over to its carrier all the references ordered by the customer within 24 working hours, unless the customer has ordered one or more references for which the delivery time is longer (in this case, the delivery time is clearly stipulated on the product description sheet). The parcel containing the equipment will only be shipped when the order is complete. In the case of different delivery times for products within the same order, the latest date will be considered for the entire order.
RecifAtHome may use the delivery service it deems most suitable, such as GLS / UPS / France Express.
Shipments take place throughout mainland France (excluding Corsica and other islands for live products) and in Europe.

Packaging
Our policy is to deliver animals in the best possible conditions, which is why we use high-quality carriers and boxes. Since transportation is the most delicate stage for animals, we do everything possible to ensure their well-being (chemical warmers, bead polystyrene for insulation, shock-resistant isothermal boxes, thick plastic bags, black anti-stress plastic bags, Ammo-blocker, etc.).
The insulated box : performance, economy, and safety.
No matter how many boxes are needed to pack your order, the shipping costs are based on an order of 2 kg with a 5-liter box (see rates above at the shipping costs step).
Polystyrene boxes used for transporting animals: 8 liters, 12 liters, 20 liters, 52 liters.
Our packaging is not returnable.

Warranty
In case of non-compliance of a sold product, it may be returned to the seller, who will take it back, exchange it, or refund it. All claims, requests for exchange, or refund must be made by mail to the following address: RecifAtHome, Rue des Prés Chalots, 25220 Roche-lez-Beaupré, within 14 days from the delivery date. You will then receive a return protocol. The return must be made in the original packaging, properly over-packaged for transport.
Transport guarantee for live animals
Fish and invertebrates travel better in groups! Please do not order a single animal. In case of breakage or non-conformities observed during delivery and confirmed by our carrier, we can only guarantee the animals if the following instructions have been precisely followed:
- Accurately fill in the carrier's delivery note with the mention "species name = dead".
- Send us within 24 hours by email a copy of the signed delivery note, imperatively accompanied by a photo of the dead individual(s) placed out of the water on a flat surface with the delivery note visible.
We reimburse the value of the loss in the form of a voucher valid for 1 year from the date of issuance. Note: the terms "subject to inspection" or "upon unpacking" are not taken into consideration.
- As stated in all the product descriptions on our website, live animal orders must meet these two criteria:
– The minimum amount of animals in your live order must be greater than €50 excluding shipping costs.
– For the well-being of the animals, do not make them travel alone (do not order a single animal). - An order that does not comply with these various points leads to thermal risks and additional costs.
- There will be no delivery guarantee if one of these two criteria is not met.
7-day live guarantee
To benefit from the live guarantee, it is imperative to contact us to conduct a compatibility study before each order. We commit to delivering animals alive and viable for 7 days; beyond this period, as the skills of each person vary greatly, the animals are the responsibility of the buyer. However, this guarantee is limited to transport for species that are too fragile, such as hard corals, certain invertebrates, and fish. Furthermore, we cannot be held responsible for improper acclimatization that does not adhere to the recommendations in the acclimatization section. Additionally, if an animal dies under the conditions of the guarantee, we offer a refund in the form of a voucher. It is imperative to send us original photo(s) of the deceased individual(s) placed out of the water on a flat surface with the delivery note visible.
Hardware warranty
The warranty applicable to the equipment is the manufacturer warranty available on their website or upon request from RecifAtHome customer service. However, some items will need to be returned to us in order to implement this warranty. In this case, the return will be made by mail at the buyer's expense. Please contact us to find out the warranty terms that apply to the products in your order. Consumables do not come with any warranty.
