Aquaforest Reef Salt 22 kg is a high-quality synthetic sea salt specially formulated for reef aquariums. It is particularly suitable for systems containing SPS, LPS, or mixed corals, thanks to its enrichment with amino acids and vitamin C which stimulate the growth and resilience of polyps.

General Description

The Reef Salt 22 kg combines a fine composition of macro and micro-elements, adapted to marine life in aquariums. It has been optimized for fast and even dissolution, making the preparation of saltwater easier.

Each batch is analyzed using two ICP-OES spectrometers to control the stability of the composition and ensure the absence of unwanted contaminants.

Instructions for Use

To prepare a salinity of 33 ppt (1.025 S.G.), follow these steps:

1. Start with demineralized water at about 24°C.
2. Add ~390 g of salt for 10 L of water (or ~3.8 to 3.8 kg for 100 L).
3. Stir vigorously for about 15 minutes until fully dissolved and the water is clear.
4. Check the salinity using a refractometer before use.
5. Use the prepared saltwater within 3 to 5 days maximum.

Store the salt in a dry and dark place to prevent moisture absorption.
