Elementals Trace Mo Fauna Marin is a highly concentrated molybdenum solution intended for reef marine aquariums. It allows for individual and precise compensation of molybdenum deficiencies, a trace element naturally present in seawater.
Role of molybdenum in marine aquariums
Molybdenum is involved in various enzymatic and biological processes of the reef environment, particularly in certain bacterial metabolic reactions. Although required in very small quantities, a controlled supply contributes to the biological stability and overall balance of the marine aquarium.
Control and analyses
The molybdenum content should be regularly checked with laboratory analyses, particularly through ICP analysis. Elementals Trace solutions offer a simple and economical method to precisely adjust the trace elements consumed in the reef aquarium.
Recommended dosage
1 ml per 100 L of water increases the molybdenum concentration by 6 µg/L.
The maximum recommended daily dose is 6 µg/L.

Usage and adjustment
The dosage should be carried out gradually and adjusted based on analysis results to avoid overdosing. A controlled supply ensures optimal stability of reef parameters.
