The yellow color of Ludwigia repens contrasts pleasantly with other green aquatic plants. Native to North and Central America, this stem plant is relatively easy to maintain. However, daily monitoring of the plant's condition is still recommended to prevent it from dying.
A temperature between 22°C and 28°C is perfectly suitable. Also, it is preferable to have a pH between 6.5 and 7.2. Generally, this plant thrives better in the middle or background of the aquarium, not far from a light source. Depending on its living conditions, Ludwigia repens can have moderate to strong growth.
