A Soft and Bright Gorgonian for Reefs
The Symbiotic Cream Gorgonian Size S is a photosynthetic soft coral containing zooxanthellae that allow it to feed through light. It is distinguished by its thin and flexible branches covered with cream-colored polyps, which elegantly unfold under the effect of the current.
An Easy-to-Maintain Coral
Thanks to its symbiotic nature, this gorgonian does not require specific feeding, although it can benefit from fine suspended particles. It is an excellent option for beginner reef keepers or those who wish to introduce verticality and movement without the constraint of complex maintenance.
Ideal Conditions for Growth
Lighting and Water Flow
Moderate to strong lighting (120–200 PAR) is recommended to stimulate photosynthesis. A gentle to moderate water flow will ensure the proper maintenance of the polyps and promote their continuous opening.
Water Parameters
The symbiotic cream gorgonian appreciates stable, well-oxygenated, and low-loaded water:
- Temperature: 24–26°C
- Salinity: 35 ppt (1.025)
- pH: 8.0–8.4
- KH: 7–9 dKH
- Calcium: 400–450 ppm
- Magnesium: 1250–1350 ppm
