A diverse carnivorous diet

The Thalassoma jansenii is an opportunistic carnivore. Its diet must be varied to maintain its vitality. It particularly enjoys:

• Artemia, mysis, and krill either thawed or live,
• Small pieces of shrimp, mussels, and squid,
• High-quality marine protein pellets for wrasses.

Feeding two to three times a day is recommended to meet its high energy needs.
