VarioS 2-S pinwheel rotor - Replacement part for Reef Octopus VarioS 2-S skimmer pump

VarioS 2-S Pinwheel Rotor – Reef Octopus Spare Part

Reef Octopus replacement pinwheel rotor for VarioS 2-S skimmer pump: original part to restore efficient skimming and quiet operation.

The original part for your VarioS 2-S pump

This VarioS 2-S pinwheel rotor is the original Reef Octopus replacement part (OCTO range) for the VarioS 2-S skimmer pump. Its pins break up the air drawn in by the venturi into microbubbles: this is the part that makes the skimmer effective.

When should the rotor be replaced?

• the pump becomes noisy or vibrates;
• foam production or air intake decreases despite cleaning;
• the rotor is broken, worn, or scaled up to the point that it can no longer be cleaned.

Regular cleaning of the rotor and its housing with white vinegar or citric acid extends its service life.
