Fish Nets for Aquariums: Controlled Capture and Respect for Animals
The fish net is an essential accessory for handling fish and invertebrates in a reef aquarium. It allows you to capture or move an animal without excessively disturbing the decor or putting your hands in the tank. Reef models favor fine, flexible mesh to minimize stress and the risk of injury.
Historically, the first nets used in aquaristics were directly inspired by miniature fishing equipment.
