Comline DOC Skimmer 9001 – Tunze

The Comline DOC Skimmer 9001 is a compact, silent, and extremely easy-to-use skimmer, specially designed for marine aquariums of 20 to 140 liters. A true plug-and-play device, it requires no complex adjustment: simply position it in the corner of the aquarium, and it automatically ensures efficient and constant skimming.

Technical Specifications

Flash Skimming Principle: Instant and Efficient Skimming

The Comline DOC 9001 uses the patented Flash Skimming system: the protein-rich surface water layer is intensely mixed with air via the Tunze® Foamer. The fine bubbles (0.1 – 0.3 mm) capture organic waste, proteins, cellulose, and micro-particles before directing them to the cup.

The Anti Overfoaming chamber automatically regulates foam formation according to water level and organic load, preventing any overproduction of foam. The extraction efficiency thus remains constant, without releasing proteins back into the tank.
