DOC Skimmer 9410.001 – TUNZE

The TUNZE DOC Skimmer 9410.001 is a high-performance, ready-to-use skimmer for marine aquariums up to 1000 liters. Easy to install and very quiet, it utilizes the Hydrofoamer Silence 9410.040 pump to generate fine and consistent foam. Its removable mechanical post-filter clarifies the discharge without promoting nitrate formation, while allowing the addition of filter media if necessary.

300 µm Mechanical Post-Filter

The post-filter at the skimmer output removes micro-bubbles and provides effective mechanical filtration on 300 µm fibers, with reduced biological impact. It can hold activated charcoal or a phosphate adsorber. Cleaning with hot water is recommended.

Installation and Commissioning

• Assembly in a calm water area of the sump
• Maintain an immersion depth between 140 and 240 mm
• No air/water valve adjustment needed: plug & play operation
• Booster Ring for fine-tuning the internal water level to achieve drier or wetter foam

Maintenance

• Weekly: empty and clean the cup, rinse the post-filter
• Periodically: check and descale the pump, injection nozzle, and mixing chamber if necessary
