Our commitment
RecifAtHome wants everyone to be able to choose, order and track their purchases on recifathome.com, whatever their disability or the way they browse (keyboard, screen reader, zoom, voice control).
This page describes the accessibility status of the website, as required by Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act), transposed into French law by Article L.412-13 of the Consumer Code and Decree No. 2023-931 of 9 October 2023.
Standard
We follow the European standard EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1 level AA, checked with the French RGAA 4.1.2 framework.
Compliance status
recifathome.com is partially compliant. An internal audit was carried out on 28 October 2026 on the home, category and product pages, the cart, the customer account and the contact page.
What already works
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of each page.
- The language of each page is declared, in all six languages of the site.
- Product photos have a text alternative.
- Browser and phone zoom are not blocked.
- A dark mode is available.
Issues being fixed
- Some text and button colours are too light (planned fix: first quarter of 2027).
- Some buttons (quantity, add to cart) do not describe their action precisely enough to screen readers (planned fix: first quarter of 2027).
- The home page carousel scrolls automatically without a pause button (planned fix: first quarter of 2027).
- Form error messages are not always linked to the field concerned (planned fix: first quarter of 2027).
- Some banners contain text inside the image without a text equivalent (planned fix: first quarter of 2027).
Content outside our control
- Payment pages of our providers (bank, PayPal, Sofinco).
- Videos hosted on YouTube and embedded social media posts.
- Manufacturers' PDF manuals, published as supplied.

Remedies
If our answer does not satisfy you, you can report it to the French authority in charge of e-commerce accessibility (DGCCRF) at signal.conso.gouv.fr, or to the market surveillance authority of your country.
