The Comline DOC Skimmer 9004 is a compact and efficient internal skimmer, recommended for marine aquariums from 60 to 250 liters depending on the organic load. It operates on the principle of highly effective surface skimming while remaining quiet and energy-efficient.
Recommended immersion depth: approximately 225 to 245 mm. Collection cup volume: 0.2 liters. Air flow rate: approximately 150 l/h. Power consumption: 4 W, 230 V / 50 Hz (115 V / 60 Hz). Dimensions: 110 × 90 × 305 mm. Attachment by Magnet Holder up to 12 mm glass thickness.
The Comline DOC Skimmer 9004 uses the exclusive "Flash Skimming" principle, ensuring rapid and stable foam production. Surface water, rich in proteins, is intensely mixed with air by the TUNZE Foamer, generating a multitude of fine microbubbles (0.1 to 0.3 mm). These bubbles capture organic waste and transport it to the skimming cup. The integrated Anti Overfoaming system automatically regulates foam production based on the water level and biological load, preventing overflow.
The Comline range is designed to combine performance, compactness, and aesthetics. The DOC Skimmer 9004 integrates harmoniously into the aquarium thanks to its discreet design and stable magnetic attachment. It installs easily in a corner of the tank, ensuring there is free space above for cup removal. It is advised to maintain the water level at the skimmer body mark, ideally with automatic level regulation.
