Comline DOC 9012 DC – TUNZE

The Comline DOC Skimmer 9012 DC is a high-end internal skimmer designed for marine aquariums from 200 to 1400 liters depending on the biological load. Its compact design and low voltage technology of 12 V ensure quiet operation, reduced consumption, and maximum safety. Thanks to the patented Flash Skimming principle, it offers high skimming performance while maintaining great operational stability.

Technology and Design

The Comline® TUNZE® range is distinguished by its compact and aesthetic internal components. The 9012 DC incorporates a surface suction system, an Anti Overfoaming chamber, and a high-efficiency TUNZE® Foamer 9012.045 synchronous motor. The latter generates a constant air flow of 450 l/h with extremely low consumption.

Its improved active surface drive (57% more surface area) enables effective foam production even at low speed, thus reducing noise and electrical consumption. The motor operates at low voltage (12 V SELV) according to medical standards, ensuring maximum safety in the aquarium.

Flash Skimming Principle

The Flash Skimming system involves intensely mixing protein-rich surface water with fine air bubbles of 0.1 to 0.3 mm generated by the Foamer. Organic substances are immediately captured on the surface of the bubbles and directed to the cup. The patented Anti Overfoaming system prevents any foam overproduction and automatically regulates efficiency based on water level and organic load.

Maintenance and Care

• Regularly clean the foam cup to maintain performance
