cPUR Technology Dedicated to Corals
PARwise PRO integrates cPUR technology, for Coral Photosynthetically Usable Radiation. This method only identifies the wavelengths actually used by corals, excluding those that do not contribute to their photosynthesis.
Measurements are thus focused on useful light, allowing for more reliable and directly applicable lighting settings for the maintenance and growth of reef corals.
Targeted and Usable Spectral Analysis
Unlike classic PAR meters that measure overall intensity, PARwise PRO compares each light spectrum to the absorption curves of coral photosynthetic pigments. This analysis allows for precise visualization of the components actually used.
The user can thus adjust their light spectrum rationally, without approximation, relying on data directly related to the biological needs of the corals.
Measurement of an Extended Light Spectrum
