ATI Essential Nitro is part of the ATI Essentials system and provides an appropriate nitrogen supply to support the growth and vitality of corals in a reef aquarium.
The Role of Nitrogen in the Aquarium
Nitrogen is essential for tissue formation and coral metabolism. A lack of nitrogen leads to slowed growth, polyp retraction, and gradual loss of coloration. Essential Nitro helps correct these deficiencies in a safe and stable manner.
Balanced Formula for Corals
The solution contains very little pure nitrate but primarily offers more easily assimilable nitrogen sources like urea and ammonium. It also includes amino acids, vitamins, and other organic and inorganic elements beneficial for the harmonious development of corals.
Observed Effects in the Aquarium
Regular dosing of ATI Essential Nitro improves polyp expansion, enhances growth, and promotes intense colors through the active formation of chromoproteins. The balanced mix prevents deficiencies while limiting nitrate excess.
