Echinodorus is an aquatic plant originating from America. Very undemanding, it is suitable for beginner aquarists who do not wish to be burdened with too much maintenance. With rapid growth and a size reaching up to 50 cm, it is easy to install in any medium or large aquarium.
To maintain it, water between 15° to 32° is recommended as well as a pH of 5.5 to 9. Therefore, it is capable of acclimating to many aquariums and a variety of parameters. Additionally, low lighting is not an issue for Echinodorus. However, remember to trim your plant regularly so that it does not obstruct light for your other plants.
