Masstick is a natural food intended for feeding marine fish and invertebrates, including corals, crustaceans, mollusks, and sponges. It is formulated exclusively from marine-derived compounds, without any terrestrial or freshwater ingredients.
This technical blend aims to reproduce a natural and balanced diet suitable for omnivorous fish and marine invertebrates in an aquarium.
Format: lyophilized powder to rehydrate.
Net weight: 14 g.
Type of food: self-adhesive paste after rehydration.
Usage: ad libitum or rationed feeding.
Masstick comes in the form of a rehydratable powder that becomes a self-adhesive paste once prepared. This texture allows for the easy incorporation of mollusk or crustacean pulps, fish eggs, artemia, mysidacea, copepods, rotifers, or orally administrable medications.
Once introduced into the aquarium, Masstick does not disperse in the water for several hours. This stability ensures optimal consumption by fish and crustaceans, without rapidly polluting the aquarium.
Formulated mainly from lyophilized crustaceans and without fish skeletons, Masstick has a very low phosphate content.
Masstick contains several species of marine microalgae, including Phaeodactylum tricornutum, Nannochloropsis gaditana, Tetraselmis chui, and Isochrysis galbana, associated with marine crustaceans such as Palaemonetes varians.
The use of multiple species of microalgae allows for a complete nutritional balance, impossible to achieve with a single strain.
Thanks to its very high protein content and natural composition, Masstick promotes fish growth, enhances colors, and contributes to strengthening the immune system. These effects result in a notable reduction of diseases in the aquarium.
As a positive side effect, Masstick stimulates the development of microfauna, particularly zooplankton and small benthic organisms, which provide a natural food source for many corals and fish.
| Element | Value |
|---|---|
| Main Source | Lyophilized marine phytoplankton and zooplankton |
| Proteins | High content |
| Fats | Essential marine fatty acids |
| Vitamins | Naturally present |
| Phosphates | Very low content |
| Composition | Marine microalgae, zooplankton, and marine crustaceans |
Rehydrate the powder with aquarium water until a homogeneous paste is obtained. Apply directly to a surface or live rock. Adjust the quantity to the aquarium's population to avoid any excess.
Respect the preferred consumption date indicated on the packet.
