JBL ProFlora CO2 Basic Bio Set – Biological CO2 Fertilization

The JBL ProFlora CO2 Basic Bio Set is a biological CO2 fertilization system designed for planted freshwater aquariums. It provides aquarium plants with carbon dioxide, an essential nutrient for healthy and vigorous growth, while helping to prevent algae.

Function and Use

The system operates by producing CO2 via a biological fermentation process. It does not require any pressurized CO2 bottles.

Installation is simple: the bio-components are mixed with water in the transparent reaction chamber, then the hose equipped with a non-return valve is connected to the glass diffuser. The system is then ready to operate.

CO2 Production

Biological fermentation allows for regular CO2 production for about 40 days. A buffer system ensures immediate and stable diffusion over time.

The bio-components can be individually replaced with refills available separately.

System Design

The JBL ProFlora CO2 Basic Bio Set uses a high-quality transparent reaction chamber, allowing easy visualization of the biological process. The system operates exclusively through natural processes, without pressure.

Compatibility
