The FMR75 fluidized media reactor was developed by D&D to offer a simple and effective solution for fluidizing various filtration substrates. Its design has been extensively tested to eliminate the flaws found in many compact reactors on the market.
It combines a compact size, great installation flexibility, and excellent fluidization efficiency.
Anti-phosphate resins and phosphate absorbers.
Biopellets up to 700 ml.
Biological sand used as a fluidized sand filter.
The FMR75 is compact enough to be used in nano-aquariums while offering a capacity suitable for larger systems.
Total dimensions: 128 mm x 94 mm x 440 mm.
Outer tube diameter: 80 mm.
Usable height between perforated plates: 340 mm.
Can be mounted on glass up to 25 mm thick.
Height suitable for aquariums of about 40 cm.
The FMR75 reactor comes ready to install. All necessary elements are included to allow for quick setup without complex modifications.
The FMR75 can be installed in various ways depending on the system's configuration. It can be placed in a sump, next to the sump, suspended from it, or directly attached to the aquarium using the support integrated into the lid.
The inlet and outlet fittings can be oriented in different directions to easily adapt to existing plumbing.
The base of the reactor body is domed to evenly distribute the water flow at 360 degrees, limiting dead zones. A lower perforated plate ensures the media remains stationary and creates a plenum zone that facilitates re-fluidization.
A coarse foam can be used with very fine media to prevent them from passing through the perforated plate, although this is generally not necessary for most supports.
