The Tunze 8850 Full Spectrum LED fixture offers comprehensive and adjustable lighting for reef and freshwater aquariums. With its adjustable spectrum from over 13,000 K to pure blue, it perfectly adapts to the needs of hard corals, soft corals, and aquatic plants. Its fully waterproof design (IP68) allows for surface or submerged installation, with stable and silent operation.

Usage and Installation

The ramp can be used emerged or submerged up to 2 cm. When submerged, cooling is optimized, increasing light output up to 26 W. Installation is easy with the sturdy magnetic holder (up to 12 mm glass). The ramp is completely waterproof and corrosion-resistant, ensuring maximum safety.

Maintenance

Rinse regularly with clear water. In case of lime deposits, soak in white vinegar and then rinse thoroughly. Never scrape the surface with a hard object.

Power Supply and Safety

  • Operates exclusively with the Tunze 6095.240 power supply (24 V DC).
  • Can be connected to a backup power system via Safety Connector 6105.500 (20–24 V DC).
  • Integrated protection against overheating and overcurrent.
