The JBL Manado Dark is a substrate designed for the maintenance and growth of plants in freshwater aquariums. Its porous structure promotes root development and is also suitable for burrowing fish.

Thanks to its high porosity, the JBL Manado Dark stimulates the rooting of aquatic plants. It acts as a nutrient reservoir with a high iron content, capable of absorbing excess nutrients present in the water and releasing them later according to the plants' needs.

The iron contained in the substrate can be directly absorbed by the roots, promoting healthy and balanced growth.
