Reef Breeder for Evergrow wifi Application what is it?

Compatible with Evergrow IT5040, IT5060, IT5080, IT5012 and IT5060B, IT5080B, IT5012B.

The brand-new Reef Nexus integration kit replaces your remote control with a cloud-based wireless application. This allows you to fully control your Evergrow IT50XX via the Reef Nexus app on your iPhone or Android smartphone. The app is intuitive, easy to use, and has much more advanced programming capabilities than the default controller. You can control your Evergrow using your smartphone from anywhere in the world, as long as you are connected to the Internet.

The Reef Nexus integration kit replaces your current wifi chip, so you will no longer use the included remote control to operate your light. All control functions will be managed via the Reef Nexus app.

How does it work?

The Photon Apex interface includes everything you need to get started - all you need is a 2.4 GHz home network connected to the Internet and an iOS or Android smartphone or tablet. Once you have installed the kit and connected your light to the Internet, it is fully controlled via the Reef Nexus app.

Will it work with multiple Evergrow lights?

Absolutely, however, you will need one Reef Nexus integration kit per Evergrow IT50XX. Once each light has the Reef Nexus integration kit installed, you can group them in the app or program them individually if they are on separate tanks.

Is my light compatible?

All Evergrow IT5040, IT5060, IT5080, IT5012, and IT5060B, IT5080B, IT5012B lights can be easily upgraded. If you are unsure of your lighting model, contact us and a representative will help you determine your light compatibility. If your light was purchased new at any time after January 2016, there is a good chance it is a compatible IT50XXb.
