JBL PROAIR a400: complete aquarium aeration kit

The JBL PROAIR a400 is a ready-to-connect set designed to improve oxygen supply in an aquarium. It includes an air pump with a maximum output of 400 L/h, two hoses, two check valves, and two large diffusers.

Thanks to its two air outlets and various adjustment systems, this air pump makes it easy to adapt diffusion to the needs of the aquarium. Its pressure of more than 140 mbar ensures a steady supply to diffusers placed at the bottom of the aquarium.

A complete kit ready to install

The JBL PROAIR a400 comes with the main accessories needed for installation. Each outlet can be connected to a 2 m hose equipped with a check valve and a 5 cm diffuser.

Simple installation of the JBL PROAIR a400

The air pump can be placed on or suspended above the water surface. The hoses should be connected to the pump outlets, then fitted with the check valves and diffusers.

The two diffusers are then placed at the bottom of the aquarium. Once the connections have been checked, simply plug in the pump to start air diffusion.

Electronic and mechanical adjustment of air flow

The JBL PROAIR a400 features an electronic power adjustment that allows the overall operation of the pump to be set. The two air outlets also have independent mechanical adjustment.

This setup makes it possible to distribute the flow between the two diffusers and adapt the amount of air released in different areas of the aquarium.

Quiet operation and vibration reduction

The stated noise level is only 47 dB(A). The pump includes a sound-insulating chamber, a reinforced body, and anti-vibration feet designed to limit the transmission of vibrations to the cabinet or stand.
