The ATI Carbo Ex Air Filter is an air filtration solution specifically designed for reef aquariums. It purifies the air drawn in by the protein skimmer by capturing carbon dioxide, thus helping to limit imbalances related to excess CO2 in the aquarium environment.
By reducing the amount of CO2 in the incoming air, the aquarium's pH is stabilized, creating more favorable conditions for the growth of corals and the overall vitality of marine organisms.
Ambient air loaded with CO2 can lead to a chronic drop in pH, promoting the development of unwanted algae. The ATI Carbo Ex Air Filter helps maintain a more stable pH and reduces the growth of harmful algae.
A stabilized pH also promotes the growth and vitality of corals, especially in closed or poorly ventilated reef aquariums.
The ATI Carbo Ex Air Filter is used exclusively for filtering the incoming air in protein skimmers.
The box can be used directly as a filter and must be connected to the air intake of the protein skimmer. Necessary adapters are provided.
Open Carbo Ex, then connect the protein skimmer's air intake to the central hose of the filter.
This product must not be used directly in the aquarium water.
