StressGuard Seachem – Antiseptic and Anti-Stress Protection for Fish 100ml

StressGuard is a premium conditioner designed to reduce fish stress during handling, transportation, acclimation, or after injury. It acts as a mild antiseptic and actively promotes healing.

Mode of Action

StressGuard contains active protein colloids capable of directly attaching to exposed tissues of wounds, abrasions, or injuries. This attachment allows targeted action of the disinfectant while forming a protective barrier comparable to a liquid bandage.

Unlike traditional mucus protection products, StressGuard does not clog resins, does not disrupt filtration, and does not coat biological media.

Compatibility and Safety

StressGuard has a neutral pH of 7.0 and does not influence the aquarium's pH, even at high doses. It is compatible with most treatments, except for copper-based medications.

It does not interfere with filtration resins such as Purigen or HyperSorb and can be used continuously if necessary.

Recommended Use

StressGuard is particularly suitable during fish introductions, transport, after an injury, an attack, or significant stress. It helps limit primary and secondary infections.
