JBL Sansibar WHITE is a white granite sand substrate designed for freshwater aquariums, marine aquariums, and terrariums. Its fine grain size ensures excellent root support while providing a safe environment for fish and invertebrates.

The high density and fine grain size of the substrate prevent the infiltration of humus and waste into the soil, promoting vigorous growth of plants and stable rooting.

The sand does not release any harmful substances into the water and protects the sensitive barbels of bottom-dwelling fish. Its white color provides strong brightness to the tank and highlights the shapes and colors of plants and fish.

Installation and Maintenance Tips

Place the substrate on a layer of nutrient-rich soil with a total thickness of about 6 to 8 cm to promote plant growth. This substrate is not recommended for use with a soil heating cable.
