JBL Sansibar RED 10 kg – Natural Substrate for Aquarium
JBL Sansibar RED is a substrate composed of fine, non-colored natural sand, selected for its natural red hue. It is suitable for freshwater and saltwater aquariums, as well as aquaterrariums, providing a stable and secure environment.

Benefits and Use
The fine grain size and high density of the sand prevent the infiltration of humus and waste, promoting vigorous growth of plants and a clean, homogeneous substrate.
The rounded grains prevent injuries to mucous membranes and protect the sensitive barbels of bottom-dwelling fish, especially digging fish like armored catfish and loaches. The substrate does not release any harmful substances into the water.

Installation and Maintenance Tips
Rinse the substrate lightly before setting up if necessary. Spread evenly at the bottom of the aquarium. This substrate is generally not recommended for use with an underfloor heating cable.
