The fine grain size and high density of the sand prevent the infiltration of humus and waste, contributing to a clean and stable substrate. The rounded grains prevent injuries to mucous membranes and protect the sensitive barbels of bottom-dwelling fish, especially armored catfish and loaches.

The substrate does not release any harmful substances into the water and is perfectly suitable for fish, invertebrates, and plants, while bringing strong brightness to the tank with its very light color.

Installation and Maintenance Tips
