The very fine grain size and high density of the sand prevent the infiltration of humus and waste, contributing to a clean and homogeneous substrate. The rounded grains prevent mucous membrane injuries and protect the sensitive barbels of bottom-dwelling fish, especially armored catfish and loaches.

The substrate does not release any harmful substances into the water and is perfectly suitable for fish, invertebrates, and plants. Its very light color provides high brightness in the tank and enhances the appearance of its inhabitants.

Installation and Maintenance Tips
