HI70300L is a storage solution that can be used to ensure optimal performance of pH and ORP electrodes. It is necessary to store the pH electrode in the solution to keep the sensitive glass membrane hydrated. Never store the electrode in distilled or deionized water. The storage solution Hanna Instruments is formulated to minimize microbial growth and to prevent diffusion/osmosis effects between the solution and the electrolyte inside the electrode. Storing pH and/or ORP electrodes also helps to keep the porous septum clean. In this way, it will be possible to ensure fast and reliable measurements. We recommend soaking the electrode in the HI70300L storage solution for at least two hours before taking measurements.
HI70300L is a solution used to store the pH electrode *. To ensure optimal response time, the glass tip and the porous junction of the pH electrode should be kept hydrated and never allowed to dry when not in use. To store the electrode, place it in a beaker containing a storage solution or fill the protective cap with a solution. HI70300L should also be used to hydrate the electrode after the cleaning procedure by soaking it for at least two hours before taking measurements.
