JBL ProFlora CO2 Regulator Basic – CO2 Regulator for Aquarium

The JBL ProFlora CO2 Regulator Basic is a regulator designed to reduce the high pressure of CO2 cylinders to a working pressure suitable for precise regulation of carbon dioxide supply in planted aquariums.

Operation

The regulator reduces the cylinder pressure, which can reach about 60 bars, to a stable working pressure of 1.5 bars. This reduction allows for precise and reliable adjustment of the CO2 supply using the integrated needle valve.

Installation and Adjustment

The regulator screws directly onto the CO2 cylinder. The CO2 flow is then manually adjusted using the needle valve.

Cylinder Compatibility

The JBL ProFlora CO2 Regulator Basic is compatible with:

– Refillable CO2 cylinders (system M, thread W21.8 x 1/14)
– Disposable CO2 cylinders (system U, thread M10 x 1)

Switching from one system to the other is done by unscrewing the knurled nut W21.8 x 1/14 using an Allen key, allowing adaptation to the M10 x 1 thread.

Design and Materials

The regulator is made of anodized aluminum with precision CNC machining. Its titanium-colored finish ensures excellent durability. Sealing is ensured by a reliable sealing washer, used as a replacement for a standard O-ring.
