Classic Sea Salt Tropic Marin is a pharmaceutical-grade sea salt specially formulated for marine aquariums. It serves as a reliable and proven base for the sustainable maintenance of fish, corals, and marine invertebrates, including the most sensitive species.
This salt contains all the major elements and trace elements of tropical seawater in natural proportions, without any artificial additives. Its composition ensures optimal stability of parameters, particularly through an effective buffering system that maintains a carbonate hardness between 9 and 10 °dH, effectively limiting pH fluctuations.
All Tropic Marin salts are exclusively manufactured from pharmaceutical-grade salts, following quality standards inspired by the pharmaceutical industry, guaranteeing a faithful and consistent reproduction of natural seawater.
Suitable for densely populated marine aquariums.
Contains all major and trace elements of tropical seawater in natural proportions.
Stable pH values thanks to optimal buffering capacity.
Excellent solubility of the 70 trace elements.
Prepared saltwater can be stored for several weeks before use.
Perfectly suitable for breeding sensitive fish, corals, and invertebrates in modern reef aquariums.
Contains all the main chemical elements and trace elements of tropical seawater in their natural proportions.
Main elements: calcium, chlorine, magnesium, potassium, sodium, sulfur.
Trace elements: aluminum, antimony, arsenic, barium, beryllium, bismuth, boron, bromine, cadmium, cesium, carbon, cerium, chromium, cobalt, copper, dysprosium, erbium, europium, fluorine, gadolinium, gallium, germanium, gold, hafnium, holmium, indium, iodine, iridium, iron, lanthanum, lead, lithium, lutetium, manganese, mercury, molybdenum, neodymium, nickel, niobium, nitrogen, osmium, palladium, platinum, praseodymium, rhenium, rhodium, rubidium, ruthenium, samarium, scandium, selenium, silicon, silver, strontium, tantalum, tellurium, terbium, thallium, thorium, thulium, tin, titanium, tungsten, vanadium, ytterbium, yttrium, zinc, zirconium.
To achieve a salinity between 32 and 35 ‰, dissolve 35 ml (approximately 37 to 40 g) of Classic Sea Salt Tropic Marin per liter of water in a clean container.
The seawater is ready for use once the salt is completely dissolved and the solution has become clear. At a temperature of 25 °C, the relative density should be between 1.025 and 1.027.
A weekly partial renewal of about 10% of the tank volume with this solution helps maintain excellent water quality in the long term.
