Pro-Reef Sea Salt Tropic Marin is a pharmaceutical-grade sea salt specifically formulated to meet the unique requirements of modern reef aquariums. Its precisely adjusted composition allows for the creation of natural, stable, and sustainable living conditions for all reef organisms.

The optimized concentration of calcium and magnesium actively promotes the growth of hard and soft corals. Its adapted buffering system effectively stabilizes pH and carbonate hardness, even when using a calcium reactor or other calcium supplementation methods. The salt is designed to function optimally with an alkalinity between 7 and 8 °dH.

Thanks to this precise balance of all essential parameters, Pro-Reef provides a reliable foundation for maintaining the most sensitive fish, corals, and invertebrates in a reef aquarium.

Application and Dosage

To achieve a salinity between 32 and 35 ‰, dissolve 35 ml (approximately 37 to 40 g) of Pro-Reef Sea Salt Tropic Marin per liter of water in a clean container.

The seawater is ready to use once the salt is completely dissolved and the solution is clear. At a temperature of 25 °C, the relative density should be between 1.025 and 1.027.

A weekly partial renewal of about 10% of the tank volume with this solution helps maintain optimal and stable water quality over time.
