Aeraqua Duo AD600 internal skimmer Maxspect for 400 to 1700 L

The Maxspect Aeraqua Duo AD600 skimmer is a new generation skimmer that incorporates several technical innovations. It operates with a Maxspect Turbine Duo sinusoidal pump with two inlets and two outlets, providing near-silent operation.

Double Water Inlet

The Aeraqua Duo features two water inlets allowing suction from both sides. When one of the inlets is closed, the skimmer also draws in internal water, thus enhancing the overall efficiency of the aquarium filtration.

Double Needle Wheel Rotor

Each water inlet is equipped with two needle wheels, one rotating and one static. This patented design allows for the production of very fine and dense bubbles, significantly increasing skimming efficiency.

Fully Integrated Design

The design of the Aeraqua Duo integrates the air silencer into the base plate, the air pipes, and the water level adjustment knob directly into the skimmer body. This design allows for precise and simplified water level adjustment.

Control via SYNA-G App

The Aeraqua Duo skimmer can be controlled by smartphone or tablet via the SYNA-G app on iOS or Android. The ICV6 interface, sold separately, is required to activate this control.

Anti-Overflow Sensor

An integrated overflow sensor detects the water level in the skimming cup and sends a warning signal in case of excessive filling.

Simplified Maintenance

The quick-release system allows for easy removal of the collection cup and full disassembly of the skimmer for maintenance and cleaning operations.

Adjusting Water Inlets According to Volume

The dual-inlet system allows adjustment of suction based on the aquarium's population:

For an aquarium of 400 to 750 L with a large population, open one inlet to 80% and completely close the other to promote internal recirculation.

For an aquarium of 750 to 1250 L with a medium population, fully open one inlet and open the second from 30% to 50%.

For an aquarium of 1250 to 1700 L with a small population, fully open both water inlets.

These settings are indicative and should be adjusted after observing the actual operation of the skimmer.
