ReefControl – Grounding Probe for Marine Aquarium

The ReefControl grounding probe is designed to secure marine aquariums by neutralizing stray voltages generated by electrical equipment such as pumps, heaters, and other components.

Connection and Compatibility

The probe connects directly to the dedicated port on the ReefControl Power. It works in conjunction with the system to ensure effective neutralization of undesirable electrical voltages.

Operation

In reef aquariums, the conductivity of seawater makes stray voltages more noticeable. These are mainly harmless induced voltages, but they can also come from faulty equipment that needs replacement. The probe safely discharges these voltages.
