The Roller Clean 300 is an automatic mechanical filtration device designed for the continuous removal of solid particles present in the water column.

It mechanically removes debris, food remnants, and organic waste before they degrade, contributing to clearer water and better parameter stability.

Operating Principle

Water enters the Roller Clean 300 receptacle by gravity and passes through a filter fleece.

When the fleece becomes clogged, the water level rises until it triggers a level sensor. This sensor automatically commands the motorized drum to roll up the dirty part of the fleece and position a clean portion under the water flow.

The cycle repeats automatically until the filter roll is exhausted.

Modular Design and Maintenance

The Roller Clean 300 consists of two distinct elements:

– a fixed receptacle, installed on the edge of the aquarium or the technical tank

– a cassette supporting the filter roll, removable for easy maintenance and replacement

The replacement of the roll is quick, without complex disassembly of the system.

Installation and Adjustments

The Roller Clean 300 can be installed on either the left or right side of the technical tank.

The frequency of fleece rolling is adjustable via the position of the level sensor.

A side window allows part of the water flow to be diverted to avoid excessive mechanical filtration when the water becomes too nutrient-poor.

Controller Indicators

The controller is equipped with three indicator lights:

– Green LED: automatic fleece rolling in progress

– Blue LED: level sensor blocked or engaged too long

– Red LED: motor blocked or over-engaged

Roller Clean Filter Fleece

The filter fleece is designed for use in freshwater and marine aquariums.

It removes solid particles responsible for the accumulation of nitrates and phosphates without removing salts or trace elements.

The operation of protein skimmers is not affected by the use of the filter fleece.
