Amphiprion akallopisos – French-bred White-Banded Clownfish
Amphiprion akallopisos is an elegant and rare clownfish, recognizable by its thin white band running along its back, from the mouth to the caudal fin. This peaceful and active fish is ideal for small to medium-sized reef aquariums. Our bred specimens measure about 4 to 5 cm (size M).
A Calm and Natural Behavior
This clownfish is very sociable and is best kept in pairs or small groups. It coexists well with other peaceful species and is not very aggressive towards its own kind. It can live without an anemone but will appreciate the presence of a Rhodactis or an Euphyllia as a refuge area.
Origin and Breeding Conditions
The Amphiprion akallopisos we offer come from the French breeding facility MERS, committed to ethical and sustainable aquaculture. Raised in captivity from the egg, these fish are perfectly acclimated to aquarium life, fed on pellets and brine shrimp, and free from parasites.
