Centropyge argi, commonly known as the yellowhead angelfish, is a peaceful dwarf angelfish highly valued for its vivid and contrasting colors. Its body is a deep dark blue, with a golden yellow head and pectoral fins, as well as a thin light blue ring surrounding the eye, highlighting its expressive gaze.
A colorful and easy-to-acclimate dwarf fish
Centropyge argi brings vibrancy and color to the aquarium without becoming intrusive. It is perfectly suited for medium-sized reef aquariums starting from 150 liters, provided it is offered a rocky decor rich in hiding places where it can move safely.
Behavior and compatibility
This dwarf angelfish is generally peaceful towards its peers. It may occasionally nibble on some coral polyps, but without causing significant damage. It coexists well with most invertebrates and other fish, as long as highly aggressive species are avoided.
