KH Plus 200ml - Aquaforest
Description
Solution to increase carbonate hardness in marine aquariums. KH Plus was created to maintain sudden drops in carbonate hardness and restore ionic balance in the aquarium. The appropriate value of carbonate ions is necessary for healthy coral growth and skeleton construction. Due to the presence of carbonate ions, maintaining a stable pH is possible.
Dosage
10 ml of KH Plus solution increases carbonate hardness by 0.25 dKH in 100 liters (27 US gal) of water.
The carbonate hardness in a reef aquarium should be around 6.5 to 8.5 dKH.
Do not increase the dKH by more than 0.5 dKH in 24 hours.
Please ensure your magnesium level is within the recommended range before attempting to increase or adjust your calcium and alkalinity levels.
