Description

An agent to maintain constant calcium levels and pH adjustment in reef aquariums. In seawater, a constant calcium value is essential for the proper development of corals and coralline algae. The recommended calcium level in reef aquariums is 380 to 460 mg/l (ppm).

Dosage

Dissolve 50 g of calcium in 1000 ml of RODI water.

- The dosage should be determined by water test results and daily coral consumption.

- Before applying a calcium solution to the water, it is recommended to perform a water test to check the current water parameters.

- 100 ml of calcium solution increases the calcium level in 100 l of water by 18 mg/l (ppm).

- The product is also suitable for occasional use to increase the calcium level once.

- 10 g of calcium in 100 l of water increases the calcium level by approximately 36 mg/l (ppm).

- We do not recommend increasing calcium levels by more than 20 ppm per day.

- To maintain ionic balance, KH buffer and reef mineral salt should also be used.

- Calcium and magnesium can be combined into a single solution.

Contains: calcium chloride - CaCl2 (CAS: 10043-52-4).

Causes severe eye irritation.

Keep out of reach of children.

Wash hands thoroughly after handling.

Wear eye protection.

IN CASE OF CONTACT WITH EYES: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes.

Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do.

Continue rinsing.

If eye irritation persists: consult a doctor.

Dispose of the contents/container in properly labeled waste containers in accordance with national regulations.

I followed the advice and instructions to remix the calcium solution. I found that there were cloudy things at the bottom of the bottle. Is it residue or precipitation? Is it normal or safe to use?
