Description
The Sandfilter FB 5000 from Aqua Medic is a biological sand bed filter designed for aquariums up to 10,000 L. Water enters from the bottom of the filter and causes the quartz sand to levitate, thereby creating a vast bacterial colonization surface that is constantly supplied with water and nutrients. This process ensures optimal biological purification with minimal clogging.
Delivered with 20 kg of quartz sand, the FB 5000 is ready to use and easily integrates into your existing filtration system.
