Marine sand for substrate or reactor.
SANDSEA sand is ideal for the bottom of a marine aquarium (reef or fish only) as well as for Malawi Cichlid
aquariums. It is largely composed of calcium and magnesium, so it can
also be used as a consumable in a calcium reactor.
Important! Before any use, rinse the sand thoroughly with running water.
The water turns a
whitish color. Wash the sand until the rinse water becomes clear.
You should allow for about 1 to 3 cm for an aquarium substrate.
Grain size 0.2-1 mm.
