Ecsenius midas – Midas Blenny for Reefs
Ecsenius midas, also known as the Midas blenny or Persian blenny, is a small marine species with an elongated and bright yellow body. Its very luminous golden hue makes it a highly appreciated ornamental fish in nano and medium reef aquariums.
A Curious and Observant Fish
The Midas blenny spends its days moving between its observation posts on live rocks. Always in motion, it actively explores the tank, bringing life and animation to the aquarium. This typical blenny behavior makes it a particularly endearing fish to observe daily.
Suitable for Small Volumes and Beginners
Ecsenius midas is easy to acclimate and feed. It can be kept in 60 to 80 liters, provided it has a rocky environment with plenty of hiding spots. It tolerates the typical conditions of a reef aquarium well and is perfectly suitable for beginner aquarists.
Maintenance Conditions
