Flux Rx 2 g antifungal treatment with fluconazole for saltwater aquarium

Flux Rx 2 g is a fluconazole-based treatment designed for saltwater aquariums. It is used for the treatment of fungi sensitive to fluconazole, including Ichthyophonus hoferi and Saprolegnia.

The product acts on topical and systemic fungal infections in ornamental fish when used according to instructions.

Conditions of Use

Before starting the treatment, turn off the skimmer and remove activated carbon, phosphate resins, and any other chemical filtration.

These equipments can be turned back on after 72 hours, except for other chemical filtrations which should remain removed for the entire duration of the treatment.

The use of filter socks is recommended to facilitate aquarium cleaning.

Do not use Flux Rx in the presence of macroalgae or refugium.

Treatment Duration

Initial results may appear after 10 to 14 days.

The treatment can be repeated daily for a maximum of 5 consecutive days.

If no improvement is observed after 5 days, it is recommended to discontinue the treatment.

Dosage

Use the small spoon provided for every 10 gallons of aquarium water.

The treatment can be renewed every 24 hours.

It is advisable to perform a partial water change between doses.

Product Content

A container containing 2000 mg of fluconazole powder.

Two plastic measuring spoons:

One large spoon of 1 cc, corresponding to about 25 US gallons.

One small spoon of 0.15 cc, corresponding to about 5 US gallons.

When measuring, the large spoon should be leveled, while the small spoon should be filled rounded.

Treatment Capacity

2000 mg of Flux Rx can treat up to approximately 100 gallons of aquarium water.

Additional Information

In case of accidental overdose, the medication can be removed using a suitable filtering media such as Clear Fx Pro.
