SUMP SKIMMER 2000 L – BLUE MARINE
Description
The Blue Marine Skim 600 and Skim 2000 skimmers are sump skimmers designed to offer high performance thanks to significant air intake.
Air intake is an essential element in the operation of a protein skimmer. The Skim 2000 has an air flow of approximately 1200 L/h, allowing for effective extraction of organic waste in large volume aquariums.
The contact time between air and water is optimized through a venturi system, needle-wheel impellers, and a bubble diffuser plate, ensuring effective air/water interaction within the skimmer body.
This third generation of Blue Marine skimmers is equipped with a DC pump using inverter technology, allowing for reduced power consumption, limited noise, and precise flow adjustment.
The skimmer features a large collection cup as well as a drainage outlet with hose and valve, making maintenance and cleaning easier.
