Stenopus cyanoscelis is a very aesthetic marine shrimp, recognizable by its bright colors and long bluish claws. Ideal for a reef aquarium, it usually hides in the caves or dark areas of the decor, from which it doesn’t hesitate to come out to explore or feed.
This species is known for its territorial behavior. Cohabitation with other shrimps of the same genus is not recommended, as it can become aggressive if space is limited. However, in large tanks (over 300 liters), cohabitation with Lysmata amboinensis can be considered without problems.

Stenopus cyanoscelis is a robust shrimp and relatively easy to acclimate. It can be slightly shy but will come out during the calm hours of the tank. It is compatible with most peaceful reef fish, provided they are not too small or too curious.
