The Coral Plugs Seachem are a chemically advanced solution for stable mounting and growth of coral fragments and colonies. They are enriched with calcium and magnesium to promote rapid and secure growth after cutting.

Design and Use

The Coral Plugs are designed to fit closely when used in culture systems such as egg crate grids. This design allows encrusting and colonial corals, like zoanthids, to naturally spread from one support to another.

They are suitable for use in both display tanks and frag or growth tanks.

Set of 12 supports.

Directions for Use

Apply a small amount of aquarium-safe cyanoacrylate glue, such as Reef Glue, to the Coral Plug.

Press the coral fragment and support together for about 20 seconds.

Then place the Coral Plug individually in the aquarium or grouped on a culture grid.

Compatibility

Designed for SPS and LPS corals, the Coral Plugs are also suitable for soft corals, colonial polyps, and other sessile invertebrates requiring a stable attachment base.
